Finding Refuge in Fall: A Fresh Start with God
Begin your spiritual journey this autumn. Discover how a refreshing embrace with God can alter your life's course. As trees shed their leaves, why not shed your worries and fears? Start this season with a spiritual refresh.
In the midst of fall, when trees start shedding their leaves, we're given an opportunity to shed our past and embrace a fresh beginning. Psalm 55:22 advises, “Cast your cares on the LORD and He will sustain you.” Casting your cares on the Lord helps you to focus on the Lord. It is our responsibility to remove every weight that besets us. So, I encourage you to increase focus and cast every burden and care on Jesus Christ. It could be a loved one, a situation you're dealing with, a unforeseen circumstance, whatever it could be but when you focus on the Lord, everything begins to solve itself. So, look unto Jesus, the author and finisher of your faith; who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God.
