Pastor Rennet serves as one of the board of directors at the Road Home, a non-profit organization in Dane County that seeks to end homelessness among single moms. We devote time and money to make a difference in our community by engaging with a great organization, and also engage in our own effort to bless the hungry and the homeless. 73% of 12th graders in Madison consume alcohol according to a 2017 statistics. We experience 2,485 alcohol-related deaths; 6,151 alcohol-related crashes; 79,285 alcohol related hospitalization. We have 21% children and teens experiencing mental illness, and 11% severe emotional disturbances. My dear friend, our people need help, and they need Jesus more than every before. I go to bed at nights weeping over my city to see the love of God break every chain. We are partnering with TreeHouse, a non-profit organization that has been serving teens since 1979, helping them build relationships and resiliency rooted in living hope. The world is in a dire need for Christians leadership. Our heart is to help people discover the leader there were born to be, so they can be a voice and influence in the market-place for Kingdom’s cause. Jesus said, ‘Go make disciples…’. Think about it, how can people (disciples) follow Jesus if we cannot lead them well ? Pastor Rennet is very passionate about leadership and conducts seminars and educational sessions to develop leaders. We just don’t stop with education and training, we also create opportunities to help them demonstrate leadership.
