I come from a family that doesn’t believe in Jesus. They are a part of another faith, but I have received Jesus. My mother has 3 siblings – 2 sisters and a brother. This testimony is about one of my mother’s sisters. Shea nd her husband have had everything they need, according to the world – good husband, good wife, nice family, beautiful home, wealth, everything. So she never had the urge to know about Jesus. Whenever I tried to talk to her, she didn’t feel the need for Him. She said He is a god like all the other gods.
A few weeks ago, the most important person in her life, her husband, was diagnosed with a lung infection, and things got pretty bad quickly. He was admitted to the ICU, went on the ventilator, and doctors gave nothing but negative reports. They were at a point where they needed a miracle! This made my aunt finally want to know about Jesus because she had heard that Jesus raises people from the dead. There is nothing that is impossible for our God! Jesus is the only God who raised people from the dead back in the day, and still continues to do so! So, I had asked Rennet to call and pray with my aunt. And after much prayer, even in the family, my uncle gained consciousness after being unconscious for 15 days. Every negative report we had received was now reversed. And people in my family have started to believe in Jesus. Now when I call my extended family members, who are not Christians, they greet me with, “Praise the Lord, Teja! Jesus is the only God”.
My uncle runs an educational institution, and when he got discharged even the faculty put up a banner welcoming him back with, “God hears and answers our prayers. Faith makes everything possible”. God did such a great thing that unbelievers have now started believing in Jesus.
This is what revival is! God does one thing in a family that stirs up many people around them.
